Hyderabad: Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy welcomed the imposition of President’s Rule in the state.
He said though the party had enough majority to start a government, President’s Rule was ideal as the schedule for elections has already been issued.
He also informed that two new PCCs will be formed, one each for Telangana and Seemandhra.
Anam said Congress anticipates cross migration prior to the elections and was prepared for it.
He took the opportunity to reiterate that leaders who were power-hungry and who were back-stabbers left the party, which was good for party’s future.
He openly warned Kiran Kumar Reddy that he would expose him once he floats his own party.
Anam informed that the President and Election Commission will look into whether assembly elections should be held for the newly formed states or for the combined state.
