From the time he announced his entry into politics, it was clear to many political analysts that Chiranjeevi’s objective and goal was to become the CM.
The desire was more towards sitting in that power chair than do some genuine public service. And it appears that Chiru is going to try till the last second for it.
Recently, the union minister was sharing his thoughts with the media when he reportedly stated that he is ready to undertake any role assigned to him by the high command and that includes even the post of Chief Minister. At the same time, he tried to be safe by stating no one approached him with that proposal.
And here comes the interesting part, Chiru reportedly expressed confidence that in 2014 polls, Congress is going to emerge as a big winner and will run the government for third term successfully.
Well, the megastar’s statements sure sound ambitious but some are asking whether he has been realistic enough in assessing the situation of his party in the state or nation.
"It is known that many are craving to become CM at least for 2 months and running here and there. But it is needless to say that none of them has the calibre to win as an MLA and their goodwill among the people of their own constituencies has eaten mud", said a political analyst.
