How Would KCR Fulfil His Vow, If He Was Not CM?

How Would KCR Fulfil His Vow, If He Was Not CM?

During the movement for separate Telangana state, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao had taken a vow to present gold ornaments to different gods/goddesses in both Telangana and Andhra, if the formation of Telangana becomes a reality.

The gold ornaments that he had vowed to present to the gods were: a Saligrama Haram (lotus model golden necklace), weighing about 14.900 kilograms worth Rs 3.70 crore and a five-row Kante (carcanet), weighing 4.650 kilograms worth 1.22 crore to Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala, a 11.700 kg golden crown worth Rs 3.65 crore to the goddess Bhadrakali at Bhadrakali temple in Warangal, Bangaru Meesalu (golden moustache) to Lord Veerabhadra Swamy at Kuravi in Warangal, Mukku Pudaka (nose stud) to goddess Kanaka Durga in Vijayawada and another Mukku Pudaka to goddess Padmavathi in Tiruchanur.

Remember, KCR vowed to present these ornaments to gods, if Telangana becomes a reality and not if he becomes the chief minister.

Those days, the formation of Telangana itself was uncertain, leave alone expecting KCR to become the chief minister of Telangana. So, KCR would have taken this vow in his individual capacity.

But now, KCR is offering gold ornaments to the gods/goddesses in the capacity of Chief Minister by spending tax payers’ money after getting his decision endorsed in the state cabinet.

The question is how can he spend public money for his personal vows? And what would have KCR done had he not become the chief minister, but Telangana would have become a reality? Would he have spent the money from his own pocket to present ornaments to the gods/goddesses?

Well, there are no answers to such questions, since nobody has the guts to question KCR!
