All eyes are on the meeting of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, when the latter comes to the former’s camp office on Sunday.
The AP Chief Minister's Office (CMO) sought an appointment with KCR and the Telangana CMO granted it at 5.30 pm on Sunday.
Chandrababu will meet KCR personally at the camp office and extend the invitation for the foundation laying ceremony of Amaravati scheduled at 12.45 noon on October 22 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Now, all curiosity is on how KCR will receive Naidu. Will it be just a two-minute affair or will there be any long meeting?
Sources said KCR and Naidu will have one-on-one meeting for about 15-20 minutes without anybody’s presence in the camp office and both of them might even address a joint press meet after that.
The meeting has a lot of significance as Naidu and KCR has not been in talking terms ever since the cash-for-vote scam and telephone tapping issue surfaced a few months ago.
The Sunday’s meeting might help them bury the hatchet and resume cordial relations.
Sources said KCR will respond positively to the invitation and may even make it convenient to attend the programme.
His son K T Rama Rao has already made it clear that he would attend the Amaravai function, if the invitation comes.
