Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday criticised MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for praising the Nizam during the debate on Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill in the State Legislative Assembly.
Venkaiah Naidu said that it was improper for a MLA to praise the Nizam who created anarchy through Razakars.
He said that Akbar Owaisi did not mention anything about the attrocities committed by Razakars during the Nizam's rule.
One could understand if Razakars hailed the Nizam, but MLAs praising him was highly objectionable.
The BJP leader reiterated his party's support to the Telangana Bill, both in the Assembly and Parliament.
He said that the BJP was in favour of Telangana with 10 districts with Hyderabad as its capital.
