Manchal Inspector Gangadhar is in a spot of bother after he became a tool for one of KTR's publicity stunts.
On Sunday, a bike race was organized at Manchal. Inspector Gangadhar who visited the spot booked cases against 40 odd bikers and the organizer Mazdayar K Vatcha.
While apprehending the racers and seizing the bikes, Manchal inspector M Gangadhar had used abusive language against the organiser, Mazdayar, and even slapped him.
The video of the inspector went viral on social media and even the IT minister noticed it. After watching the video, he tweeted tagging Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma saying, “@TelanganaDGP kindly look into this. Manhandling & abusing goes against our philosophy of friendly policing.”
Now Gangadhar has been asked to submit an explanation within a fortnight or face disciplinary action.
If we go back in time, during the T-agitation, there was a video in which KTR is seen abusing a policeman. This was again just another publicity stunt to project himself as a tough guy.
How many times will KTR make use of poor, lowly police officials for his own brand building? Gangadhar needed to act tough against the bike race organizer who didn’t have permission for the event and besides, someone can so easily get killed in such kinds of activities.
What if a teenager had lost his life in such a race? It would be the police who would then be blamed for allowing such events. What was Gangadhar supposed to do? Take the organizer out for biryani and request him?
If KTR really has the courage, why does he not tweet on the names found in Nayeem’s diary? Why does he not tweet on where Nayeem’s diary is and the action taken on the names found in it? Has a single top police official been arrested in Nayeem’s case so far? Will the contents of the diary ever see the light of day?
Take on such top cops and prove your concern Mr KTR! Why pick on poor Inspectors who were just doing their jobs, for your own publicity?
