Krishna district’s Pedana MLA and senior TDP leader Kaagita Venkata Rao has taken ill after he was not given a place in Chandra Babu Naidu’s cabinet.
It is being said that Venkata Rao was one of the many aspirants who expected to be included in the newly formed cabinet.
However, after the final list was announced, he is said to have been dejected after not finding his name in the final 19.
Chandra Babu Naidu had given priority to first time MLA Kollu Ravindra and had to sideline Kaagita Venkata Rao due to caste equations.
A disappointed Kaagita did not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Chandra Babu. Meanwhile, he was unwell and taken to Bandar for treatment. Later, he was shifted to Vijayawada for treatment.
