Honeymoon in AP Over?

Once you make tall claims and cannot stand by your word, it is bound to attract criticism. And AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu is no exception to this rule.

A while ago, Babu made a statement that he would hold three cabinet meetings in the month following the elections.

At the time, he claimed that it is no simple feat and that only his government had the ability to hold such meetings. However, nearly three months later, Babu is not as convincing.

The latest notification from his government says that there will be only two cabinet meetings in a month. And it did not take three months for Babu’s government to come to this decision.

It was mentioned that since there were no particular issues for the ministers to discuss during the cabinet meetings, a decision was made to this effect. Political analysts feel it is their way of saying that the honeymoon has ended for AP government.

Naturally, this has been attracting lots of criticism from various quarters. It is being said that Babu has lost his spirit and cutting down the number of cabinet meetings only proves this assumption.
