The only reason Y S Sharmila was given the position of leading the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee is that she is YSR's daughter.
The Congress high command believed that Congress in AP would strengthen under her leadership.
However, when Sharmila's letter to Jagan appeared on TDP's Twitter page, the Congress high command was shocked to see her apparent connection with TDP. This is politically unacceptable to Congress, and AICC leaders were deeply concerned by the revelation.
Political sources say that Sharmila may soon be removed from her position in the AP Congress Committee.
