![Height Of Speculations: Modi Joining TDP!](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos9/ga_politics1611037702.jpeg)
Prime Minister Narendra Modi joining the ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh? It is too ridiculous to imagine such a thing to happen, even if TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu himself makes the claim.
But Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas threw a hint to this effect to media on Wednesday.
He tweeted, "Yes, according to sources PM is joining TDP. Now run this as a news.” In the next sentence itself, he gave clarity: “Just joking like u guys (sic.).”
The poet-turned politician’s response came after a journalist questioned him citing media reports that he was joining the Bharatiya Janata Party to contest in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
A national daily reported that Kumar Vishwas was in talks with BJP to join the party. It also said that a call was to be taken on where he would be fielded from in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Quoting sources, report also said that there will not be much delay in taking a decision as the notification process for UP polls had already begun.
Kumar also gave potshots at the BJP leaders for spreading such rumours. “PM ji had said to improve 'Sense of Humor', bhakts took it as 'Sense of Rumor'... Lage Raho,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also tweeted sarcastically to rubbish the reports.
“I have information that after the Uttar Pradesh election, the PM is joining the Congress. He has also met with Rahul Gandhi," Sisodia quipped.
Another minister, Kapil Mishra wondered, "Is Amit Shah joining Aam Aadmi Party?"
