YSRCP leader and Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has taken a decision which made him a role model of sorts for other politicians.
Since he can make do without his salary as an MLA, he has decided to spend the entire amount for the welfare of the people in his constituency.
In all, Sridhar Reddy would be earning about Rs 60 lakh during his five-year term. So, he has decided to spend it for the education of poor children, aid orphans and accident-hit families and other welfare activities in his constituency.
When asked how he would manage the expenses that an MLA has to bear, Sridhar Reddy said he could afford to spend it from his pocket.
Since he is settled in life and has reached a stage where he can be of help to others, Sridhar Reddy says he has decided to dedicate his life to uplift various sections of people.
We extend our hearty congratulations for his effort and hope that other politicians follow his example in days to come.
