The first episode of season 2 of the popular reality show – Unstoppable with NBK, being hosted by senior actor and Telugu Desam Party legislator Nandamuri Balakrishna with his brother-in-law and party president N Chandrababu Naidu is all set to hit the small screen on Aha OTT platform on October 14.
The promo released by “Aha” on Tuesday has shown glimpses of NBK’s talk with Naidu depicted both lighter side and serious side of Naidu. Interestingly, Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh also joins the show, adding some masala to the episode.
Though there was a speculation that no politics would be talked at the show, which is generally meant for entertainment, Balakrishna appeared to have deliberately brought in political discussion in the show.
Balakrishna asked Naidu what the most difficult situation he had faced, the TDP chief replied: 1995 episode, when he pulled down his father-in-law and Balakrishna’s father N T Rama Rao from power.
“You were a witness to the development,” Naidu told Balakrishna and the latter nodded with an emotion in his face. But what Naidu explained and what Balakrishna said were not shown in the promo. All that Naidu said was that he had fallen at his (NTR?) feet to save the party.
On the lighter side, Balakrishna asked Naidu whether he had done any “naughty” things in his life. “More than what you are doing in films,” Naidu replied with a laugh. “Those were the college days and there were many girls on the campus,” he said.
When Balayya asked whether Naidu would ever cooked food for his wife, Naidu replied jokingly: “I cannot cook food for myself; how can I cook for my wife?”
At one stage, Balakrishna pushed Naidu to a tight spot, asking him to call up his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari and say “I Love You”. “Your brother is trying to fix us on this stage,” Naidu said to her over phone.
Lokesh, too, had to face some interesting pot shots from Balakrishna in the show.
When Balakrishna showed the pictures of Lokesh in a swimming pool with bikini-clad women around him and asked Naidu what he would say about them, Naidu replied: “Why should I have any objection when his own father-in-law doesn’t have?”
However, Balakrishna embarrassed Lokesh by asking him about his defeat in the assembly elections in Mangalagiri. What Lokesh replied to it was not shown completely in the promo.
