Promising to meet the Prime Minister soon over the special status issue, Chandrababu Naidu then dropped a bomb.
He said that he would urge the Centre to come to the rescue of three backward north coastal andhra districts and Rayalseema. Is the CM of AP out of his mind?
When the demand is for a special status for AP, why does he again need to speak specifically about Rayalaseema and north coastal Andhra?
It should be special status for the whole of AP so that every district in the State will benefit. This statement by Chandrababu Naidu gives rise to the sneaking suspicion that a compromise has already been arrived at with the Center and a package will be announced along the lines he mentioned.
In fact, he must have known right from the beginning and is merely manipulating the public opinion. Well done, Chandrababu!
