It looks like senior TRS leader and state finance minister T Harish Rao has taken inspiration from TDP president and former Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, at least in developing a family business.
Having a clean image and a lot of popularity among the people of not only his Siddipet assembly constituency but also the entire Telangana state, Harish Rao has now ventured into dairy business, on the lines of Chandrababu Naidu whose Heritage Foods is now a popular brand of milk and milk products across the country.
Like Naidu who had operated the Heritage Foods business through his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari, Harish Rao too has launched the dairy business in the name of his wife Srinitha Rao on Friday with the brand name of “Milchy Milk.”
The group will sell not only milk but various other milk products on the lines of Heritage Foods. Srinitha said consumption of more milk and other dairy products would help improve the immunity system in the current coronavirus pandemic.
Srinita said that the procurement, processing, packing and the supply of all the dairy products were being done in highly hygienic conditions at the milk processing units.
“Home delivery facility is also being arranged to make the quality products reach every doorstep,” she added.
May be, he has felt that there was no further growth for him in politics, as he cannot expect more than a cabinet minister post. And there is no way he can make money in politics as long as KCR is in the hot seat.
So, the best way to sustain his financial position is enter into business. But one wonders why Harish Rao had chosen only dairy business?
May be, he thought the dairy business had brought some luck to Naidu to grow into the position of the chief minister dethroning his father-in-law N T Rama Rao!
