Telugu Desam Party MLA P Keshav on Wednesday welcomed the decision of the government to agree to provide clarifications sought by the TDP leaders on Telangana Bill.
Claiming that the TDP's threat of laying seize to the Chief Minister’s residence has forced the government to provide data on Telangana bill, Kesav said Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy had given an assurance to this effect.
He said that the TDP would use that information to prove its contention that injustice was being done to the Seemandhra region.
He said that the information could be used during the debate and also to make representation to the Centre.
Dismissing allegations of match-fixing by the YSR Congress Party, he said that Jaganmohan Reddy himself was not serious on Samaikhyandhra issue.
He said that while Jagan met leaders of different political parties, as to why he avoided the Central Government which could stop the division of the State.
