One of the most attractive poll promises of TDP apart from loan waiving was the promise of 'Babu vaste job'.
Now almost a year later, the situation in Andhra Pradesh is dismal as far as employment opportunities go and it is said that Andhra Pradesh CM has stirred the Hornet's nest by saying that the government cannot give jobs as the state is running on deficit.
He is said to have made this comment after the president of Unemployed United Forum Lagudu Govinda Rao submitted a memorandum to the CM demanding that the TDP government must fulfill its pre-poll promise.
On the other hand, Govinda Rao mentioned that they had complained to the Election Commission regarding TDP government's failure in fulfilling their pre-poll promise.
Meanwhile, the president of Andhra Intellectuals' Forum Chalasani Srinivas said that the government cannot wash off its hand saying that it cannot fill government jobs. He demanded that the government should issue a white paper regarding the same.
For now, 'Babu vaste job' seems to be out of Babu's agenda as he is talking of requesting the private sector to create more jobs, instead of the government creating new opportunities for the unemployed.
