Governance is different from movement, Mr KCR!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who used to brush aside every criticism by blaming it on Andhra media when he was leading the Telangana movement, seems to have forgotten that he is now in a responsible position and cannot escape criticism.

As usual, KCR sought to blame it on the media for the controversy over imposing conditions for the implementation of crop loan waiver scheme.

“This media has no other business but to malign me. They are making a mountain out of mole hill, based on a statement of an inexperienced minister,” he said.

Obviously, he was referring to Finance Minister Etela Rajender, who revealed the conditions for crop loan waiver to the media.

One wonders how KCR can get away with it, being in such a responsible position.

He seems to have forgotten that Cabinet has a collective responsibility and a statement by a minister on a policy decision is deemed to have been made by the Chief Minister himself.

It’s time KCR should realize that running movement is different from running a government!
