It looks like power has gone to the heads of the Telugu Desam Party leaders in Andhra Pradesh, as they are caring a damn for rules and displaying their authority brutally and blatantly.
On Friday night, TDP MLC Annam Satish created terror at the Haritha Resorts at Bapatla beach in Guntur district and attacked the staff of AP Tourism department. Satish was there at the resort to participate in the birth day celebrations of film producer Koratala Sandeep.
The MLC along with Sandeep and others were dancing around a camp fire. He was agitated when the resort staff were a bit a late in supplying food.
The MLC, who was in an inebriated condition, abused the staff and when deputy manager went there, he was assaulted physically.
The manager tried to call his higher officials, but the MLC and others roughed up him and the other staff members. When the staff went to the local police station to lodge a complaint, the cops, instead of registering the complaint, detained the resort staff overnight. The MLC also threatened the local media reports who went there to cover the incident.
It clearly shows how the TDP leaders are crossing all their limits to show off their power. It was only a couple of days ago that former TDP MLA Ravi Venkateshwar Rao got into news for firing in the air at a private club in Gudivada. No case was booked against him!
