Friends At Centre, Foes In State!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao is adopting a strange stand with regard to relationship with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

While KCR has been praising Modi on every possible occasion and moving closely with the Central BJP leaders, his party leaders back home are indulging in attack on State BJP leaders.

On Wednesday, KCR’s nephew and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao slammed the BJP for “lending support to conspiracies” being hatched by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu against Telangana government.

Harish accused Naidu of deliberately creating hurdles to the development of Telangana State. He also criticized the BJP for extending support to Naidu, who has been relentlessly working against the interests of Telangana State.

The Centre also helped the Andhra Pradesh Government to include seven mandals of Khammam district into the residuary State while bifurcation in utter violation of norms.

Harish Rao also warned that Chandrababu Naidu's attempts to create problems for Telangana State would not fructify as the Telangana graduates, educationists and people are wary of the latter’s designs. Under the circumstances, the people of the segment will prefer the TRS candidate alone, he said.
