At last, Congress senior leader and former minister J C Diwakar Reddy admitted that he had received a show-cause notice from the APCC.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, JC said he would reply to the notice within four days.
He said the PCC sought an explanation from him in seven days.
It may be mentioned here that the notice was served on Diwakar Reddy for talking against AICC president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
Diwakar Reddy had created sensation in the party some time ago by demanding that Sonia Gandhi step down from her post in favour of another efficient leader, who can steer the party to victory.
He also found fault with the high command for taking a unilateral decision on separate Telangana issue.
