Referring to Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, KCR had remarked in the past, “Uma ante aada na maga? (Does Uma mean a male or female)?”
Uma did not respond to the comment and neither did Ganta Srinivasa Rao when KCR said, “Ganta ane Ganta gaadu.”
But both of them are good at one thing and that is criticising YS Jagan Reddy and alleging that Jagan looted Rs 1 lakh crore.
But Uma seems to have revised his estimate because on Friday, he said the illegal assets of Jagan Reddy amounted to Rs 43,000 crore even though the CBI charge sheet mentions 11,000 crore in total and that too, for alleged quid pro quo transactions.
There is absolutely no sign of any embezzlement. But Uma wants the properties of Jagan to be handed over to the State government as the public have a right on them.
Ultimately, it is the TDP leaders who will probably end up sharing Jagan’s properties.
There is a strong rumour that Hailand resorts of the Agrigold group and other properties of the firm have been taken over via benami route by MP Murali Mohan and Nara Lokesh. Now, Uma seems to have set his sights on Jagan’s properties.
Instead of indulging in Goebbels propaganda repeatedly, Uma and Ganta will be better off winning back people’s respect which they lost completely in not responding to KCR’s comments against them.
