According to an article carried by a prominent 'English daily', Anhdra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is easily the most expensive CM in the nation.
The article estimates that the monthly expenses of CBN alone amounts to Rs 3 crore. And although the revenue officials want to bring this to the notice of CBN, they are scared of the consequences.
As soon as he came to power, he spent nearly Rs 25 to Rs 30 crore on Lake View Guest House and on two blocks in the Secretariat. But he did not stick to these offices and has now decided to operate from Vijayawada. This means untold expense again on a new camp office there.
And then there are his frequent foreign jaunts on specially chartered flights which again is a huge drain on the exchequer. In effect Rs 50 crore per anum is roughly the amount people are paying for CBN’s expenses.
And now, there is a possibility of a farm house on the outskirts of Hyderabad being converted into another camp office for CBN. On the one hand, he goes about saying that AP is starving for funds. On the other, this is his expense sheet.
Why would anybody believe his cries for help then?
