The strike by the sanitation workers in Hyderabad which has turned the city into a dump yard is entirely the fault of KCR.
Now these sanitation workers are apparently outsourced employees and their demands include regularization of service apart from pay hikes and other usual demands.
The issue here is not whether their demands are justified or not. To every group that has gone on a strike such as the government employees, RTC or whoever else, KCR agreed to their demands and gave them generous increments with the objective of not just scoring brownie points but also to inconvenience Chandrababu, for he knew that similar demands would surface in AP too.
KCR knew that the health of Telangana finances was robust unlike that of AP. But thanks to this mindless policy of KCR, every group from every sector is now resorting to agitations.
And how can he now discriminate against the poor sanitation workers and threaten them whereas he pampered the government, RTC and other employees?
So much for his ‘Swacch Telangana’ extravaganza!
