Lanco owned by Lagadapati Rajagopal is next on the hit list of KCR after Novotel.
Recently, KCR said that action will be taken against all institutions allotted land by the government and mentioned LANCO in this regard.
But some newspapers carried the opinion that if action were taken against LANCO, then similar action needs be taken against Infosys, Microsoft etc as all of these were also allotted land by the government.
Rushing to their defence, KCR said that Lanco and Microsoft could not be equated as the other companies had not encroached upon wakf board lands or other government lands.
