It’s a known fact that prominent industrialist and media baron Narne Srinivasa Rao has been harbouring political ambitions for a while now. Due to this, his son-in-law NTR Jr is facing a peculiar problem. It’s got nothing to do with his political future, but that of his father-in-law.
Of late, there has been talk that Narne Srinivasa Rao is drifting towards YSRCP Congress. Though nothing is confirmed as yet, a certain incident has become a point of discussion in political circles.
As per one version, Narne is said to have approached Jagan for a Lok Sabha seat either from Guntur or Narasaraopet. It is being said that YSRCP head honcho Jagan was not averse to the idea of giving him a ticket. But it has come out that Jagan has put one condition and according to that he wants NTR Jr to canvass for YSRCP during the forthcoming elections.
Naturally, Narne is in a fix. He is unable to say either yes or no on his son-in-law’s behalf. It is heard that the situation has landed NTR in a dilemma.
It is a known fact that NTR’s close friend Gudiwada MLA Kodali Nani has also joined YSRCP some time back.
At the time, NTR was vehemently criticized. Yet, NTR declared that he was a TDP man. However, it is said that he is now unhappy with certain developments that took place in TDP later. But he is not decided if he should alienate himself from TDP in haste.
Now, the talk making rounds is whether Narne’s dream would come true. Earlier, Narne had tried for Chilakaluripeta MLA ticket from the TDP. But that did not work out. Meanwhile, he grew in stature as a businessman. Now he has set his eyes on the Lok Sabha seat.
On the other hand, Jagan is said to have promised the Guntur LS seat to Vallabhaneni Balasauri and Narasaraopeta LS seat to Ayodhya Ramireddy.
Despite this, Jagan trying to strike a deal with Narne as regards NTR’s involvement is a new twist in politics!
