Continuing his election campaigning in the city on second day, AP Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday reiterated that Hyderabad City was developed during his earlier regime.
Addressing an election meeting at Begumpet, Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya and his party leaders, said before TDP came to power, there was nothing in Hyderabad and Abids was the only shopping area. There were only a few hospitals and colleges.
It was the TDP government, which constructed flyovers and an international airport with modern facilities, he reminded.
"We have provided employment to one lakh youth in the software sector," the TDP chief said and alleged that the Congress and TRS governments have not taken up any developmental works.
In support of TDP-BJP combine candidates in GHMC elections, Chandrababu Naidu asked people to vote for TDP which has credibility and sincerity.
He asked the people to show same interests like in last Assembly elections. He also asked people to teach a lesson to defectors in the GHMC elections.
Besides Dattatreya, TDP leaders L Ramana, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Revanth Reddy and others also participated in the election meetings.
