Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently hinted at a Cabinet expansion this month.
Rumour in political circles is that an ex TDP member and MLC is likely to be given a minister’s post by the TRS government.
Saleem was once known to be a close aide of Chandra Babu Naidu. Despite that he is said to have joined TRS after being promised a minister’s post.
It is being said that Saleem would make it to the cabinet expansion being scheduled in the last week of this month or during the first week of next month.
If KCR keeps his promise, then the number of minorities in his Cabinet would increase to two.
