Andhra Pradesh government is behaving strangely when it comes to the development of new capital city.
Though it’s big plan is not crystal clear as yet, it is going about its task of adding new villages into the capital fold.
In its latest move, it has declared that Nandigama, Gudiwada municipality, Guntur municipality, Ponnur, Sattenapalli municipalities will also fall under capital zone.
Accordingly, the municipal department has also issued orders to this affect.
Now, political analysts are wondering as to why Babu and his government have included some villages randomly, especially since some of them are nearly 50 km away from the present demarcation.
One reason being given is that Babu’s government has taken the step to make sure that these areas will also be developed along with the capital zone.
While observers still remain clueless regarding the actual reason, the fact remains that barring Bandar, Jaggayyapeta and Kaikaluru, the entire Krishna district more or less now falls under the capital zone.
