Even Monsoon In Babu's Credit?

Even Monsoon In Babu's Credit?

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has the capability to turn any development in his favour and get mileage from it, thanks to a section of media which is ready blow his trumpet on every single occasion.

For the last three days, several parts of the state have been receiving very good rainfall, as the monsoon has become active. This is a normal phenomenon. But Naidu has been trying to gain mileage even out of these good rains.

He and his cabinet colleagues took up Eruvaka programme in the villages, commencing the agriculture operations. And his loyalists went on to claim that the good rains this year were only because of the efforts of Naidu.

And media gave wide publicity to the Eruvaka programme. Some media also went on to say that Naidu had proved his critics wrong, as they were saying there would be no rains if Naidu comes to power. “He has come to power and brought good rains with him,” a TDP leader said.

Ironically, within a couple of months of Naidu coming to power, there was a huge cyclone Hudhud in Visakhpatnam. Can we say Naidu brought cyclones and devastation with him?
