In a new development in the TDP camp, TDP Telangana Forum leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that people were disgusted with the conduct of Seemandhra MPs.
He added that while there was nothing wrong with the Seemandhra leaders fighting for their rights, they were hurting the sentiments of the Telangana people by protesting against the formation of a separate Telangana state.
He disclosed that the Telangana leaders from his party had approached Chandra Babu Naidu and requested him that the Telangana Bill should not be stopped.
Errabelli said that the Seemandhra leaders in his party were trying to influence Babu and control his decisions. However, it was rather sad to see Chandra Babu opposing the T-Bill in the Parliament, he added.
Errabelli felt that opposing the T Bill in the name of equal justice was not appropriate.
Earlier, when he had met the PM and the opposition leaders, he said they were confident that Telangana would become a reality.
But following pressure from Babu, even the BJP was changing its stand on Telangana, he alleged.
Regardless of recent developments, Errabelli expressed confidence that Chandra Babu would support the cause of Telangana.
But it was clear from his speech that there was slight discord in the party and that Errabelli was upset with Chandra Babu’s latest stand on T Bill.
