Telangana TDP Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday reiterated that his party chief N Chandrababu Naidu was not against Telangana State.
Errabelli told media at the Assembly media point that Naidu had never uttered a single word against the Bill and he was extending cooperation in the House.
He alleged that by accusing his party chief, his opponents were trying to get political benefit. He also accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of mounting pressure on the Speaker not to hold discussion on the Bill.
Stating that discussion on the Telangana Bill had begun on Monday, Errabelli said the Seemandhra MLAs were creating problems.
“We will not tolerate if somebody tried to stop the proceedings in the guise of holding discussion,” he warned, adding that people of both the regions should part ways as brothers.
