Kodandaram who was one of the pillars of the Telangana agitation was viewed by KCR as a threat to his hegemony.
In fact Kodandaram defied KCR on many aspects during the T-agitation and was on the verge of emerging as a serious threat to KCR’s domination before the latter bounced back.
Inside sources say that KCR did not extend an invitation to Kodandaram for his swearing-in ceremony until the last minute.
KCR’s close aides who came to know that KCR did not extend an invitation to Kodandaram told KCR that it would reflect very poorly on a new government if he took to personal vendetta on such an auspicious occasion. The result was that they finally managed to get KCR to change his mind at the last minute. But there is absolutely no doubt that Kodandaram would not be getting any support from KCR in future.
Poor Kodandaram on the other hand is desperately trying to stay in the news by still speaking of agitations and dharnas!
