According to ABN Andhra Jyothy, Republic TV telecast a special programme in which it analyzed that around 100 MPs from different parties might resign and force the NDA to o in for early elections.
Their calculation is that there is a lot of anti-Modi feeling in the country currently and if elections are held early, the opposition parties would definitely benefit.
Apparently, Chandrababu Naidu’s high-profile 2 –day Delhi visit during which he interacted with various party leaders set the foundation for this.
While one does not know about the anti-Modi wave sweeping the country, there is definitely an anti-Chandrababu wave in Andhra Pradesh.
Decimated out of existence in Telangana, Chandrababu Naidu’s ratings are at an all-time low in AP now and people are not willing to accept his frequent politics of opportunism over the special status issue. Therefore, early elections might actually backfire on Chandranna.
But all said and done, Republic TV’s analysis of 100 MPs resigning seems far-fetched unless of course, ABN gave a completely different spin to it.
