The YSR Congress party on Sunday sought to distance itself from Anakapalli Congress MP Sabbam Hari.
Talking to reporters here, party deputy floor leader Sobha Nagi Reddy said that Sabbam Hari's recent remarks that he would quit the seat and join the YSR Congress were part of a conspiracy hatched by Vijayawada MP Lagadapati and others and the party had nothing to do with them.
In fact, she said, his remarks caused anguish and dismay to the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy himself.
"There is no place for Sabbam Hari in the party now and he will find none in the future too," she asserted.
