![Don't Nominate Him From AP!](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos9/ga_politics1611037702.jpeg)
With Venkayya Naidu lobbying intensely to be re-nominated from AP once his term expires, it may be that Nirmala Seetharaman, the other contender will seek re-nomination from a Northern State ruled by the BJP.
Venkayya represents Karnataka and with the Congress coming back to power there, there is no question of being nominated from there.
In AP, however it is his own people ruling the state and nothing can get more comfortable than this. Every time that he visits AP, Chandrababu Naidu and Venkayya prance around like long-lost brothers, praising each other to the skies.
Against this backdrop, it now seems a certainty that Venkayya will be re-nominated from AP whereas Nirmala will have to be accommodated from another BJP ruled state.
Is it not ironical that a man who promised special status to AP in Rajya Sabha and shamelessly is doing nothing about it is now going to be nominated to Rajya Sabha again from the very state that he backstabbed?
Chandrababu Naidu should put his community feelings aside and politely refuse Venkayya, re-nomination in the quota of AP.
