Telugu Desam Party senior leader and former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Tuesday equated AICC general secretary in-charge of Andhra affairs Digvijay Singh with popular Telugu film comedian Brahmanandam.
Somireddy said Digvijay Singh was behaving like Brahmanandam and sometimes as another comedian Ali with his frequently changing statements on Telangana resolution to be sent to the state assembly.
“How can he make irresponsible statements on such sensitive issues? Is it justified to take decisions sitting in Delhi?” he asked.
Though the decision of Congress president Sonia Gandhi might be final and irrevocable for her sycophants, it was not acceptable to the people, he said, adding that people would teach the Congress a fitting lesson if State was bifurcated by bypassing the Assembly.
