Congress leaders on Tuesday expressed different opinions on the release of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Some leaders said that the Congress had no link with the release of Jagan, and some others said that it was a happy moment that an integrationist had come out.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Tuesday, senior Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy said that the Congress party’s future was marred in Seemandhra even if Jagan remained in jail or out of jail.
Senior Congress leader Gade Venkata Reddy said that it was a happy moment that an integrationist has come out from the jail. He said that Jagan has got bail not with the recommendation of somebody. He said that he would welcome anybody if he raised Samaikyandhra slogan. He asked Jagan to fight for the sake of united Andhra Pradesh.
Former minister Dr P Shanker Rao has said that there was no link between the Congress party high command and the bail granted to Jagan. He exuded confidence that Jagan would work with the Congress party in future.
