There is news circulating in Srikakulam about the Dharmana brothers, who have been active in politics for four decades, now leaning towards political renunciation.
Dharmana Krishnadas, who served as the YCP district president, has been a loyalist to Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, citing his age, he has reportedly decided to step away from politics, according to insider sources.
He is said to be requesting the appointment of his son, Krishna Chaitanya, as the Narsannapeta YCP in-charge, hoping to establish him as his successor in the party.
Meanwhile, Dharmana Prasada Rao has been maintaining a distance from party activities.
Sources suggest he is not interested in joining any other party and is considering bidding farewell to politics altogether.
His son, Ram Manohar Naidu, is reportedly interested in stepping into politics as his successor. However, it remains to be seen whether this will happen under the YCP or with another party.
