The people of AP are quite used to KCR's laments of denial of power and other amenities to Telangana by AP. Yet, the excesses that his government indulges in frequently go unreported.
The Telangana government illegally felled 50000 bamboo plants at Papikonda National Park. Preliminary investigation revealed that Telangana forest staff felled the plants as part of a regular exercise of extraction of bamboo from the forest area that was earlier a part of Khammam district and later after the bifurcation, merged into Godavari districts of AP.
Despite the park falling under the jurisdiction of AP, Telangana forest officials reportedly went ahead with the extraction upon instructions from higher officials.
Respect breeds respect and hatred breeds hatred. If KCR is just in his dealings with AP (which he is not), he can expect justice from AP. Otherwise he needs to be paid back in the same coin.
