The two-day visit of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to the national capital seems to be fruitful ever, if the rumours are to be believed.
The power corridors in Delhi speak that the Delhi had given some fruits in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s basket.
The major development in the tour is clearance for industrialist Gautham Shantilal Adani, popularly known as Adani, to become Rajya Sabha member from AP.
Adani will certainly be a big win for Jagan Mohan Reddy in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general.
Industry-tycoon, Parimal Nathwani is already representing AP in Rajya Sabha, and is said to be playing key role in routing investments to AP.
The investments are in pipeline at various stages, which neither the MP nor the CM is interested in making public at this point of time.
If Adani is also falling in Jagan’s net, that certainly would be a big catch for the young chief minister.
Among the other issues that were cleared during the two-day visit, included investments in Chennai-Benguluru Industrial Corridor and Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor.
These two projects have been included in the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), which promotes investments in the states.
As of now, the NICDC is focusing only on the corridor that connects Gujarat. The NICDC’s second priority would be the two corridors that pass through AP, thus the state reaping best investment benefits.
