Senior Congress MLA and ex minister Dr Daggupati Venkateswara Rao chose to show his resentment by abstaining to vote for the Congress party in Rajya Sabha elections.
It is being said that he took the decision in support of the Congress Seemandhra leaders who are raising Samaikyandhra slogans.
However, Daggubati clarified that he abstained from voting after discussing and informing his decision to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
A person abstains from voting when he or she decides not to vote for or against a particular issue or individual.
The move shows Daggubati’s displeasure against the Party.
