That politics is made of opportunists was once again proved by former minister Dadi Veerabhadra Rao.
After quitting the Telugu Desam Party, which had given him political birth, for not getting renomination for the MLC seat, he joined the YSR Congress party last year with a lot of fanfare.
Now, Dadi has quit the YSR Congress party again and is now looking up to stage a comeback to the TDP which has come to power in Seemandhra.
When he left the TDP, he made a scathing attack on TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for his alleged dictatorial attitude and described the TDP as a sinking ship.
Now that the TDP has come to power, Dadi chose to quit the YSRC and as expected, he launched an attack on YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, describing the latter as a monarch who never listens to anybody.
Dadi squarely blamed Jagan for the party’s debacle, saying there was no point in conducting review meetings as Jagan alone was responsible for the loss.
He accused the YSRC president of ensuring defeat of his own mother Y S Vijayalakshmi in Visakhpatnam, as he did not want any alternative power centre to grow in the party.
He said he was repenting for joining the YSRC and was correcting his mistake by quitting the party.
