It is a known fact that a murder attempt was made on Aurobindo Pharmacy vice president Nityananda Reddy recently in Hyderabad.
The killer had shot at Nityananda Reddy with an AK 47 gun. However, Nityananda Reddy had miraculously escaped alive from the attempt and the killer escaped.
Now, it is being said that the whole attempt had nothing to do with murder. Apparently, a person pointed an AK 47 at Nityananda Reddy and asked him to get into the car saying that he was being kidnapped.
It is said that the killer pounced on Nityananda Reddy who was returning from his morning walk and held him at gunpoint when Reddy tried to open his car door to get in.
However, since his brother who was also walking with him, managed to hold the killer from back, Nityananda Reddy shot a few rounds from his pistol. But the killer escaped.
In fact, Nityananda Reddy went for a walk at KCR Park which is in the busy and plush Banjara Hills area of the city.
Many top politicians, businessmen, film personalities and a lot of people come there for their morning walk. Police patrol the area regularly.
Despite these facts, the killer could get away after pointing an AK 47 at Nityananda Reddy. Now, this clearly highlights the need for better security in the city and immediate tightening of the security network.
