It is a known fact that corruption is rampant in all the government departments and one can hardly find any employee who does not indulge in corruption, big or small.
But to demand the government to declare the corrupt employees as “mad dogs” is something strange. Especially, when the rulers themselves are corrupt, one wonders how they can call the employees as mad dogs.
Interestingly, there is an organization by name ‘Lanchagondi Pichchi Kukka’ (Corrupt man is mad dog), an anti-corruption struggle committee. Mohd. Amanullah Khan, convener of this newly-formed organization has threatened to go on fast-unto-death from February 1 if the TRS government failed to declare corrupt government employees as rabid dogs immediately and initiate legal measures to curb corruption.
Amanullah Khan on Wednesday demanded that the TRS government put ‘Corruption Free’ boards at all government offices apart from allotting a toll free number for utilization of common man at any time to inform concerned authorities on corrupt officers.
He also appealed to the citizens to observe 2015 as “Corruption Free Year”.
But having known the TRS leaders, his demand will only be a far-cry!
