News is that many MLCs from the Congress are about to join TDP.
Actually, TDP has fewer members than Congress in the Legislative Council. So it is being said that TDP is conducting ‘operation Aakarsh’.
It is said that MLCs Chaitanya Raju, Pullaiah, Ravi Varma, Srinivasulu Naidu, Reddappa Reddy, Sheik Hussain are preparing to jump into TDP.
The Legislative Council will have its sessions from Monday. To avoid problems once the sessions are on, TDP is said to be encouraging defections.
Incidentally, the Congress has no MLA in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
