MLA and BJP Telangana leader Kishan Reddy has said that Congress party did not give a separate Telangana state.
Referring to the issue, Congress MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that Telangana people would consider Sonia Gandhi as their goddess who granted them their wish.
He added that though the party was aware that it would die in place, it still went ahead and gave Telangana.
Reacting to this strongly, Kishan Reddy said that many young people died for the cause of Telangana since 1969. He accused the Congress party of shooting and killing 369 people back then.
He said that Congress was in no way responsible for giving Telangana. He added that it is Telangana people who carried forward the struggle and achieved a separate state.
Reddy alleged that Congress forced many Telangana people to become martyrs for the cause.
