As the schedule for electing Rajya Sabha members is out, the AICC is now shifted its focus on Andhra Pradesh Congress Party Affairs.
According to sources, the high command is said to be worried about the possibility of cross voting from the Seemandhra leaders in favour of the YSR Congress party or the TDP in the Rajya Sabha elections.
AICC general secretary in-charge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh said they are now looking into the affairs of party leaders in the State who were trying to change loyalties.
He said the party had its own strategy on having alliance with other political parties in Andhra Pradesh as far as Rajya Sabha members’ election was concerned.
He, however, declined to divulge more details on the alliance which is an internal matter of the party.
