Annoyed over Tollywood actor and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan’s rhetoric against the Congress high command, APCC Chief N Raghuveera Reddy on Wednesday said they would soon unmask those behind the former.
“We will soon divulge details pertaining to who was colluding with whom and the conspiracies being plotted to target the Congress”, he said.
Addressing the media at Indira Bhavan here along with Election Committee chairman and Union Minister K Chiranjeevi, Manifesto Committee Chairman and former minister Anam Ramanaryaana Reddy and party vice-president Vatti Vasanth Kumar and former minister C Ramachandraiah, the APCC chief took a serious exception to Pawan’s caustic remarks. He said it was not just Pawan Kalyan, but all others, who opposed the Congress party were “our rebels”.
When some reporters demanded party’s response on Jana Sena chief’s comments of “Congress Hatao and Desh Ko Bachao, Union minister and Pawan’s elder brother Chiranjeevi found himself in a peeved mood.
However, Raghuveera said Pawan Kalyan was being supported by some rival political parties. The Congress had its own rank and file, he said, adding that they would strive to rebuild the party.
“We are not scared of any political outfits coming up”, he said, adding that “There may be some big political parties behind the actor to target us”, he observed.
