With the Telangana Rashtra Samithi ditching the Congress outright, the Congress high command has decided to intensify its campaign to get the maximum mileage in the region.
The party is now planning to go to the elections with the slogan of “Sonia to every household and Congress to every doorstep”.
The Congress leaders are hoping that it had all the strength and ability to go to polls alone.
AICC member Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy flayed Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao for claiming the credit for Telangana statehood.
“KCR cannot deceive people on Telagana issue”, he said, adding that the TRS chief, who did not talk earlier on tribal welfare was now talking about seven mandals given to the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh. KCR has no business to talk of this, he added.
