The Congress government at the Centre is fast moving towards its end, which is why it is making every attempt to malign BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
This was the view expressed by BJP national leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday. He said the Congress government at the Centre was racing towards its end.
He claimed that BJP-led NDA would definitely cross the 300 mark in Lok Sabha elections, while the Congress would get its lowest ever number. The Third Front was a “tried and failed experiment”, he quipped.
Responding to the Centre ordering an inquiry into the “Snoopgate”, Venkaiah said it was shameful for the disgraced Congress government to order an inquiry against the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
The Congress was resorting to personal attacks as it was not in a position to face the challenges, he said, adding that the Union Home Minister has no right to order an inquiry at the fag end of the term of his government.
